Restylane® Refyne™ is a smooth gel-based injectable dermal filler by Galderma Aesthetics, designed and formulated using XpresHAn Technology™ specifically to help smooth and reduce light-to-moderate laughter (marionette) lines and nasolabial folds.

Adding volume and fullness to minor facial skin depressions and sunken areas e.g. round the lip area, Restylane® Refyne™ helps create a more naturally youthful, softer look, improving skin hydration and elasticity whilst providing the support and flexibility to maintain natural facial expression.

Restylane® Refyne™ incorporates 0.3% lidocaine to offer instant pain-relief to minimise discomfort when injecting highly sensitive facial areas.

Composition

• Sterile, bio-degradable, non-pyrogenic, cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel with viso-elastic properties; lifting and volume-enhancing capacity
• Cross-linked hyaluronic acid 20 mg/mL
• Lidocaine hydrochloride 3 mg/mL (local anaesthetic re: injection site)
• Phosphate buffered saline (pH 7 qs ad 1 mL)
• 1 mL syringe (mid-to-deep dermis layers)

Noticeable results from 1 to 2 days following treatment with overall effects lasting from six to twelve months – dependent on individual’s age, skin type, lifestyle and environment.

Lidocaine – providing instant pain-relief upon injection to ease discomfort without affecting the safety and efficacy profile of Restylane®.

Precautions

Restylane® Refyne™ is indicated for patients over the age of 21 years.

Important treatment considerations for those with severe allergies and history of severe reactions (anaphylaxis) and those with allergies to the anaesthetic, Lidocaine.

Additional considerations: skin sores, rashes, cysts, hives and pimples; pregnancy & breastfeeding; bleeding disorders (re: injection site); scarring, skin-pigmentation disorders and the use of Restylane® Refyne™ in conjunction with other skin therapies e.g. laser treatment, chemical peels, etc.

Treatment may result in some mild to moderate swelling, itchiness, bruising and / or tenderness which normally dissipates over a 24 to 48 hour period dependent on the sensitivity of injection site.

Should temporary swelling, soreness and / or itching at the injection site occur, an ice-pack applied for relief is recommended.
Seek immediate medical attention should symptoms persist.

In the rare event Restylane® Refyne™ is injected intravascularly – seek immediate medical attention.
Complications may be serious and permanent and may cause scarring; damage to underlying facial structures; skin necrosis; stroke; vision abnormalities and impairment.

Due to normal skin-sensitivity following dermal filler treatment – strenuous activity should be avoided for at least 24 hrs and sun / heat exposure for at least one week.

Alcohol consumption should also be avoided for a minimum 24 hours following treatment as alcohol (acting as a blood-thinner) can cause blood vessels to dilate, leading to increased swelling and bruising.

Use within the expiration date on package.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 25ºC / 77ºF.
Do not freeze.
